Steven Harrison Named GRAND-AM Director of Business Development
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 1, 2011) – GRAND-AM Road Racing announced today that veteran marketing and motorsports industry executive Steven Harrison has been named the sanctioning body’s Director of Business Development.
Harrison will begin his new position effective immediately, based in GRAND-AM’s Daytona Beach, Fla. headquarters. In his new role, he will work with league promotional partners and suppliers, provide team and track sponsorship support, and develop new multi-media activation programs for television, online and radio. Harrison will report to NASCAR Managing Director of Business Development Sean Downes, who is based in New York, and GRAND-AM CEO Ed Bennett in Daytona Beach.
Prior to joining GRAND-AM, Harrison was with the Westwood One Radio Network, where he served as the vice president of sports sales and marketing since 2009. He was with International Speedway Corporation from 1999 through 2009, where his roles included senior director, partnership marketing; senior director, integrated media; and Motor Racing Network Vice President.

Harrison is a resident of DeLand, Fla.
