Grease Monkey Racing To Run Two Cars For The Season Finale.

Los Angeles, Ca., October 28, 2004---This coming weekend's Rolex Grand-Am Series event at California Speedway in Fontana is special on two counts for Grease Monkey Racing. First, the race marks the long awaited debut of the second car, #03 2004 Porsche GT3 Cup Car. Secondly, it's the home event for the Southern California based rookie team.

Andrew Alfonso and Tim Traver will share the #03 Porsche GT3 in SGS. Alfonso has been Grease Monkey Racing's official test driver and finished sixth in his Grand-Am debut at Watkins Glen. Alfonso also raced a Porsche GT3 Cup Car in El Salvador as part of RPM Aceleracion's Gua-Sal team. Tim Traver, from San Diego California, comes from an open wheel racing background. He is a multi-time winner in the Skip Barber 2-Liter Series and participated in the Barber Dodge Pro-Series in 2002. This will be Traver's first race in Grand-Am. The #03 Porsche will be backed by King Taco, SimpleNet, RPM Aceleracion, Glaceau Vitamin Water, Car Graphic, Cleber Design, Sparco, Motul, JM Racing and RacerStation.com.

Harrison Brix and Gene Sigal will again be teamed together at California Speedway in the SGS #04 2004 Porsche GT3 Cup Car. After testing at Buttonwillow Raceway last week, the successful duo plans to improve on their second place finish at Homestead. Grease Monkey Racing is sponsored by DHL, Sirius Satellite Radio, Nextel, JM Racing, RPM Aceleracion, Glaceau Vitamin Water, Performance Concepts, Car Graphic, Cleber Design, Sparco, Motul, AvantiKart.com and RacerStation.com.

Make sure to tune into Speed Channel on Sunday, October 31 for live coverage of the race, starting at 1 P.M PST.
