Rolex 24 Nine-Hour Report - Top Cars Rotate In and Out of Lead on Pit Stops

Porsche teams have led both in DP and GT - Currently second in both classes

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida - January 31 - Darren Law has climbed in the Brumos Porsche Riley and is running second behind Michael Valiante in the Ford Riley for the overall race lead as the Rolex 24 at Daytona completed nine hours.

Law, who led briefly after he exited the pits, was overtaken by the Ford Riley on the next lap and has settled in to second, about five seconds behind.

In the Rolex GT class, a series of pit stops put the Stevenson Motorsports Camaro back in front of the TRG Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, with Spencer Pumpelly aboard. The TRG Flying Lizard Porsche, now driven by Joerg Bergmeister, is third.

The Bullet Racing Porsche, the all-Canadian Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, is fifth in class, with 1983 Sebring 12-hour winner Kees Nierop currently driving.
