The GTO class is led by #91+ (3rd overall), leading by two laps over #3+ (fourth overall), followed by #93+ (fifth overall and 3 laps down). The GTU class is led by #81U (eighth overall), leading by 12 laps over #23U (10th overall), followed by #90U (11th overall and 26 laps behind the class leader). The AGT class is still led by #84A (36th overall), leading by nine laps over #09A, followed by #13A (49th overall and 108 laps behind the class leader).

The GTU class is led by #23U (9th overall), leading by 11 laps over #81U (10th overall), followed by #90U (11th overall and 14 laps behind the class leader). The AGT class is still led by #84A (35th overall and 21 laps ahead of #09A (37th overall), followed by #13A (49th overall and trailing the class leader by 130 laps).

The GTU class is led by #23U (6th overall), leading by 17 laps over #90U (8th overall), followed by #56U (13th overall and 23 laps behind the class leader). The AGT class is led by #84A (35th overall), leading by 47 laps over #09A (39th overall), followed by #13A (50th overall and trailing the class leader by 156 laps).

* At 10:20 a.m., lap #643, #93+ Viper slows on east banking and pulls over to the apron. Towed back to pits where it gets new tires, fuel, and driver change. DONOHUE , out, ARCHER in. At the same time, #3+ Corvette pits for fuel, tires and driver change. BELL out, FELLOWS in.

* At 10:30 a.m., lap 647, RACE LEADER #20 pits for fuel, driver change. PAPIS out, EFR in. The stop cuts the Dyson Racing team's lead to less than one full lap over the #91+ Viper with 21/2 hours remaining in the race. Dyson's biggest lead had been 13 laps just after the 13th hour.
