Rock Hill, South Carolina-- Horizon Motorsports debuted its much- anticipated second Pontiac GTO sponsored by Rockland Standard Gear, at the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series Brumos Porsche 250. Featuring drivers Mike Weinberg and Paul Stubber from Perth, Australia along with the Dynamic Technology Inc. and Gupe.biz #23 GT with Kris Szekeres and Charles Espenlaub.

The team worked especially hard during qualifying to repair a tire issue on the Gupe.biz #23 and Szekeres qualified 9th on an older set of tires.

Szekeres took off at the start of the race with good positioning, however by the second lap an oil pump failure forced him into the pits and out of the race.

Rockland Standard Gear #32, Weinburg took the GTO into 8 laps before coming in to the pits, as there was an overheating issue.
