DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 3, 2003) -- Three Daytona Prototype drivers took time out their schedules today to make a visit to the Speediatrics unit of Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach. Brumos Racing drivers Hurley Haywood and David Donohue joined G&W Motorsports driver Darren Law in visiting with patients and their families.

Located just down the road from Daytona International Speedway, Speediatrics is the NASCAR-themed pediatric unit at Halifax Medical Center. The special unit was designed by Betty Jane France and features a colorful racing theme throughout to help keep children's spirits up while in recovery.

After leaving Speediatrics, the three Daytona Prototype drivers made a stop at DAYTONA USA to participate in a fan forum. More than a 100 fans were on hand to ask questions of the drivers inside the motorsports attraction located beside the Speedway.

Donohue, Haywood and Law will compete tonight in the Paul Revere 250, slated to start immediately following Winston Cup qualifying at approximately 11 p.m. Tickets are still available for the Paul Revere 250, as well as the entire Pepsi 400 event weekend, and may be purchased online at www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com or by calling 386-253-RACE.
