DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Oct. 31 - Chris Gleason of Johnstown, Pa. will join The Racer's Group team owner, Kevin Buckler of Sonoma, Calif., and Pierre Ehret of Santa Rosa, Calif., behind the wheel of the The Racer's Group Porsche GT3 RS #66 in Saturday's Grand American Champions Weekend Rolex Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

They're driving the same Porsche that won the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona here in February. It's sponsored by Gleason Financial, Monster Cable, Rennlist.com, Adobe Road Winery and New Century Mortgage.

The race will be two hours and 45 minutes long. The team will be doing its best to come up through the field, as it didn't post a qualifying time on Friday.

Gleason, who usually drives the team's #68 Porsche, said the #66 is a bit different to drive than his usual mount. "It's a stiffer car and its engine has more power. It's less forgiving than the #68 because of that," he said.

"But I liked it!" he was quick to add. "I'm ready to go tomorrow. It's always great to run at Daytona."

The race will be broadcast live on SPEED from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern time tomorrow.
