Daytona Beach, Florida m- TRG is currently running second in the GT class in the 44th Grand American Rolex Series presented by Crown Royal Reserve Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.

The number 65 TRG Pontiac GTO.R returned to the lead on lap 328 only to surrender it during pit stops. On the strength of Andy Lally, Johnny O'Connell, Marc Bunting and RJ Valentine the drivers and car have been the picture of consistency thus far in the race.

"Everything is going pretty smooth," said Marc Bunting. "I was able to do consistent lap times and keep the lead. The brakes were starting to go and the pedal was getting long, but when I got out they changed them for Johnny. The track is pretty slippery, so you have to adjust your line and focus on getting through traffic.

Jan Magnussen is feeling the rigors of the race. "We have a pretty heavy brake pedal in the car and it takes a lot of effort to get the car to stop. When you do the shifts you really have to reach for the brake pedal. I have a few blisters, but nothing that will stop us from making it to the finish."

Speed TV is broadcasting more than 14 hours of the 24 Hours at Daytona. The first segment will air with the start of the race on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. EST and run air until 6:00 p.m., they will return at 8:00 p.m. and run until 11:00 p.m. On Sunday the show will resume at 8:00 a.m. and run the finish at 12:30 p.m.
