January 30, 2002--John Macaluso (Winter Haven, FL) has joined forces with Tom Volk and TRV Motorsports in an effort to wrestle the esteemed 24 Hours of Daytona. This year marks the 40th anniversary of this highly acclaimed race.

Macaluso has joined the driving team of Tom Volk (Blissfield, MI), team owner/driver, IRL competitor, Jeret Schroeder (Vineland, NJ), as well as John Schneider (Dallas, TX). The team will be piloting the #95 Chevy powered Riley and Scott around this 3.56 mile road course, using the banked oval, as well the non-banked infield section of the track.

The Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona kicks off the 2002 Season of the Grand-American Road Racing Season. Live TV coverage of the 2002 season will begin at the Rolex 24 At Daytona, with Speedvision broadcasting from Daytona International Speedway beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 2.

The coverage will include the 1 p.m. green flag and continue until 7 p.m. on Saturday. Speedvision will pick back up with the racing action at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3, and will follow the race through the checkered flag and victory lane celebration.
