CHEEVER RACING ANNOUNCES GRAND-AM PROGRAM CHANGES INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 8, 2007) - Cheever Racing will contest the 2008 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve with a highly revised effort, it was announced today.

INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 8, 2007) - Cheever Racing will contest the 2008 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve with a highly revised effort, it was announced today. The Daytona Prototype sports car team, with title sponsorship from Crown Royal Special Reserve, will have a significantly different look both inside and outside the race car cockpit.

"After a productive two-year relationship, Cheever Racing has mutually agreed to part ways with driver Christian Fittipaldi," said team owner Eddie Cheever, Jr. "We will be announcing our 2008 drivers soon. In addition to new drivers we will also roll out a new race car, with a completely different paint scheme, all in preparation for the upcoming year."

The 2008 Grand-Am season officially begins with the Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 26-27.
