Renger hopes for Turkish delight!

Renger van der Zande cannot wait to hit the track in Turkey even though it is his firsttime at the circuit. The RSC Mucke Motor sport driver will besteering his GP3 car, hopefully to success, round the notoriouslytricky track.

Even though Renger has never driven at Istanbul Park before, he is no stranger to winning on his first trip to tracks in the UK and Europe.

"It doesn’t worry me about coming to a new track - almost every circuit I drove and won on last year was new in British F3. What matter to me is to get some points and ideally a win on the board after a difficult weekend in Barcelona", said the 24 year old.

Despite being fastest in practice at the inaugural round of GP3 in Barcelona, the weekend ended in disappointment with no points for the Dutch driver - something which he is desperate to change by the end of this weekend.

"It was the first weekend of GP3 and I think we all learned a lot in Spain. I am ready for Turkey now and I am looking forward to getting back in the car because our speed is definitely there, it is all about getting the results now. We have tried to set up the car in a way that the base setup will work for every track but I guess we will soon see!"
