German Team RSC Mucke Motorsport wants to gather a lot of points at the home race at Hockenheim - Optimism from Tobias Hegewald and his driver colleagues before the start of the second season half
Berlin/Hockenheim (rol/ot) The German Team RSC Mucke Motorsport and his three drivers Tobias Hegewald (Waldbreitbach), Nigel Melker and Renger van der Zande (both Netherlands) have big optimism for the home race of the GP3 series at Hockenheim coming weekend (23rd to 25th of July). The second half of the season starts with the races nine and ten that are scheduled in the main program of the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Germany.
^AWe want to knot on to the good results from Silverstone and gather a lot of points at Hockenheim", tells team principal Peter Mucke, that has Ralf Schumacher (the RSC in the team name stands for the former Formula 1 driver and actual Mercedes DTM pilot) as a prominent combatant and partner between his rows. ^AWe all hope for the bad luck to be over finally at the races for the rest of the year and the first half of the season. Because the speed and performance of our drivers are really good and give hope for placings at the podium. Of course it would be nice to gather those points here in Germany", underlines Peter Mucke, that leads the only German racing stable at the GP3 series.
About two weeks ago (10th/11th of July) RSC Mucke Motorsport gathered the first six points at Silverstone with the placings four and six of Tobias Hegewald at the GP3 race, after Nigel Melker already got four points with two pole positions at the beginning of this season. Tobias Hegewald, that has his 21st birthday on the 3rd of August, surely wants to make himself the best birthday present at the home race. ^AOf course I am confident after the good results from Silverstone. My goal at Hockenheim is to gather points at both races. Maybe I can go for the first placing at the podium of this season", hopes the driver from Waldbreitbach (Rhineland-Palatinate), that gave his team a big thanks for the great work at Silverstone.
