Julien Falchero has been announced to race in GP3 this season, the Frenchman becoming Campos Racing's first signing in the series' 2017 edition.
Falchero, 19, started his single-seater campaign in 2015 by becoming runner-up in the V de V Challenge Monoplace.
He then had full-time Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and FR2.0 NEC campaigns last year, finishing 13th in both of them.
Falchero, who is coached by former F1 driver Jean-Pierre Jarier, spent all three days of the Abu Dhabi post-season test with Campos.
"A new challenge in 2017 in GP3 Series with Campos Racing is an extraordinary opportunity," said Falchero.
"The tests in Abu Dhabi and the integration within the team in Valencia in Spain are a real treat for me.
"I’m going to prepare for the best physically this season 2017 and have as Coach a great former French F1 driver, Jean-Pierre Jarier, who agreed to take care of me with the goal to occupy the first places on the grid."
Campos has been competing in GP3 since 2015, the Valencia-based squad settling for last place in the Teams' Championship last year.
Falchero is the third confirmed GP3 driver in 2017 alongside Trident duo Giuliano Alesi and Kevin Jorg.
