Troubled Friday for Stefano Coletti in Budapest

The GP2 points leader, Stefano Coletti, did not have one of his best qualifying sessions this year.

The Friday in Budapest, that is the venue of the seventh round of the GP2 Series 2013, has been unexpectedly complicated for classification leader Stefano Coletti.

Following the analysis of the data collected during free practice held in the morning, Team Rapax's driver aimed to fight as usual for the top positions in qualifying. Unfortunately the Monegasque could not go beyond the eighteenth place (1'29.519), a result that will force him to put in a difficult recover in tomorrow's Feature Race.

The pole position went to Tom Dillmann (Russian Time, 1'28.219) who was followed by Sam Bird (Russian Time) and Fabio Leimer (Racing Engineering). Fourth time for Felipe Nasr (Carlin) instead, who currently holds the second place in the championship's standings.

Stefano Coletti: "Obviously we cannot be happy with today's result: this is a circuit that offers very few overtaking chances therefore tomorrow things will be tough. First of all we need to work out what compromised our qualifying".

The weekend's programme will continue tomorrow with the Feature Race, scheduled for 15.40 (GMT+2), while the Sprint Race will start on Sunday at 10.35. Both races will be live on Sky Sports F1 HD.
