The new event will serve as the second round of the series’ 2017 championship, featuring some of the sport’s top drivers including Tanner Foust, Steve Arpin, and two-time defending champion Scott Speed.

The race program features two full days of action on Saturday and Sunday, with the first day featuring practice, qualifying, and early-round heats and the second day boasting semifinals, the last chance qualifier, and the main event for both the Supercar and GRC Lites classes. It all wraps up on Sunday afternoon with an all-series autograph session featuring your favorite drivers!

Quotes

Scott Speed (Andretti Rallycross) — No. 41 Oberto Circle K Beetle GRC: "I'm really excited to head to Louisville this week. We've got to keep the momentum going from Round 1 in Memphis, and look to defend our dominating win in the No. 41 Oberto Circle K Beetle GRC. Louisville is a much different type of track than what we saw in Memphis, so it’s important that we perform well here!”

Tanner Foust (Andretti Rallycross) — No. 34 Rockstar Energy Drink Beetle GRC: “The Memphis raced proved how important having a clean qualifying run is with the new format this season. This will keep all the teams pushing as hard as possible for maximum speed. With some momentum heading into Round 2, the Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross crew is working hard to maintain the high bar we set in Round 1. Details matter, and the No. 34 Rockstar Energy Drink Beetle GRC crew will be pushing 100 percent!”

Austin Dyne ( Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing ) — No. 14 M-Sport Fiesta: “We are extremely prepared and have had time to catch up with everything since Memphis. I'm just really excited to go racing and battle it up. I feel we should be really strong with the package we have and the track is like a lot of non-permanent tracks we go to.”
