Fans at Sandown will have the chance to relive the infamous duo of Brock and Harvey. They were a powerful combination which bought them the fruits of success, including a memorable win at the Great Race at Bathurst in 1983.

Could be a case of dejavu as James Brock has partnered with Gavin Harvey for the Great Aussie Ute Race at Sandown from the 5th September. Gavin Harvey, who has raced in the Mirage Cup Championship comes with plenty of ambition and experience to the Brute Strength Racing team.

"The Great Aussie Ute Race is a non-championship round, but it will by no means be taken any less seriously than a championship round. Both Brock and Harvey are confident of doing well in front of the Victorian crowd." Team Owner Pete Jones said.

The preparation of the Brute Strength ute is on schedule and ready for the gruelling race ahead of them.

Brute Strength Racing's chances will be bolstered by the presence of the Victorian Special Olympics Team with whom they are pleased to be associated with.
