Two men have reportedly been killed after crashing into a wall at Queensland Raceway on Saturday night.

According to a report by Queensland newspaper The Courier Mail, the crash occurred at the Ipswich circuit at about 8:40pm.

CPR was administered to the 32-year-old driver and 41-year-old passenger, but they were pronounced deceased on the scene.

Very few details have been confirmed, including the identity of the deceased, with the Courier Mail report confirming that the Forensic Crash Unit is involved in the investigations.

Queensland Raceway was hosting a ‘Roll Racing Brisbane’ event between 6pm and 10pm last night, which is effectively short-track drag racing for street legal cars.

The deaths come a year after club racer Dennis Smith was killed at the circuit during a midweek sprint, while Porsche Supercup driver Sean Edwards lost his life at Queensland Raceway back in 2013 when a Porsche he was the passenger in crashed during a driver coaching session and burst into flames.
