Top 10 videos of the week: 2014-06-18

Below is a compilation of ten videos from this past week that we at Motorsport.com thought were worth showing for a second time. With all the spectacular videos coming out of Le Mans, we wanted to be fair to the other series, so we only chose a couple from the biggest sports car spectacle of the year. Enjoy the cool, funny, interesting, and downright bizarre videos we collected over the past seven days!

10.) That could be a problem

During a pit stop for the No. 75 ProSpeed Porsche, one of the doors just literally fall off. Immediately after the pit stop, the car was forced to retire from Le Mans when the left-rear wheel decided to mimic the door and fell off itself.

7.) Opening lap chaos

In this awkward crash on the opening lap of the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Michigan, Brian Vickers loses it, slaps the outside wall, regains control, loses it again, goes nose-first into the outside wall, then spins down the track, and then this happened...

6.) Rain - The Chaos Bringer

When it started to rain at Le Mans Saturday afternoon, all heck broke loose. Cars were crashing under full-course yellow, spinning all over the place, the LMP2 leader slammed the tire barriers at one of the Muslanne Chicanes, and two LMP1 prototypes were taken out in this big accident that also ended the day of the GTE Am class leading Ferrari.

5.) Going for the win

German Quiroga had never won a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race going into Saturday night's event at Gateway, so when he saw a chance to take the lead, he wasn't about to lift. Needless to say, a crash ensued and a very angry pit crew then tried to stir up some more trouble back in the pit lane. By the way, he still ended up finishing second.

What's cooler than watching clips from the 24 Hours of Le Mans? Watching clips from the 24 Hours of Le Mans in super slow motion of course!

3.) He did what!?

In a bizarre situation, this kid was able to drive his girlfriend's VW Polo past security, onto the pit lane, and then the race track at Brands Hatch while an event was ongoing! We also have the onboard video from these somewhat eccentric thrill-seekers in our gallery if you'd like to see that as well.

2.) Coolest track preview ever

Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo leant their voices to this really cool and detailed preview of the Red Bull Ring, which will host the Formula One Austrian Grand Prix this weekend.

In a lap that looks like it came straight out of a video game, absolute insanity unfolds. There's nothing more I can say than you really need to watch this...
