A MotoGP start is hairy enough, but add a very wet surface, and it makes you realize how brave these riders really are.

It's nice when motorsport photographers remember to give some of their shots context. It's important as part of a larger "package" of images from an event, and these types of images will be used in years to come.

Mastery of light is important for all photographers, but applying it to racing is sometimes tricky. This is a well executed and well lit image in a tough shooting environment.

The four-time champ certainly gave it up during post-race. Lots to choose from, but we liked how clean this image is. Just a man celebrating with his flag and car.

This is a well-known shot from Sepang, but it's always just as impressive as before. The attitude that both rider and bike have to have in order to take this corner at speed is pretty mind-boggling. Bonus points for all those tire marks that form the "line."

Aside from this image being very telling about who Lewis Hamilton is, it's very interesting to examine the gaggle of media and team members surrounding him in this post-race shot.

In a season that spans 36 races or more (including visiting many tracks twice), it's easy for NASCAR photos to get "stale" but there's always the potential for truly original images, including this one. Pretty stellar, really. For those who didn't figure out what's causing those circles of confusion, it's the sun's glare reflecting on the fencing, and the photographer shot through this, focusing on the cars in action.
