10. Intense light on Romain Grosjean's eyes sets the mood for our top 10 this week.
9. We could have very easily called this week's edition of the top photos "Chaos and Mayhem." Daytona this year was pretty vintage for crash photos. Flying sparks and flying grass. Just missing a flying car (more on that in a few).
8. Testing every year at Barcelona for the F1 circus. And every year this scene-setter seems special.
7. Safety crews scramble as Kyle Busch suffers from a fractured left foot and right leg during the XFINITY race at Daytona.
6. Forgive us for going nuts over dark pictures with an F1 car going through a pocket of light. We live for these golden hours (really more like 5 minutes).
5. More chaos and mayhem.
4. If we need to explain to you why this photo made the list, you shouldn't be here.
3. Joey Logano was one happy kid in Victory Lane after winning the Daytona 500. It's a special feeling we're sure.
2. Backlit brake dust? Sure, why not. Outstanding moment from slightly above average photographer James Moy.
1. "Here, hold my beer and watch this."
