For the second serie appear Furlán and Ortelli in the first line, then Tuero, Ponce de León, etc...

Furlán won with an impressive Mitsubishi Lancer, second was Tuero (Honda), Orteli (Honda), etc..

After this litle aperitif, at one o`clock started the final race with Bugliotti and Furlán in the first line, then were Fontana and Tuero.

In the start Fontana and Tuero passed Furlán, but after a couple of laps Fontana quit the race with problems in his Toyota when he was in second place.

With ten of the forty laps disputed, Bugliotti was confortably leading but a spot of oil in the track that leave Fontana`s car complicate the leader who lost all the difference with Tuero and Furlán.

In lap sixteen the young driver Leandro Carducci (Honda) quit the race and leave his car in a bad place, which provocated the enter of the Pace Car for one lap.

In the re-start Gabriel Furlán quit with electrics problems in the Mitsubishi Lancer.

A few laps later Anibal Zanirato (Honda) who was with problems in the brakes touch Nelson García, because of this García finished crossed in the track and the Pace Car enter again.

A couple of laps later in a similar situation, Ortelli, with problems in the acelerator hit Hernández in the back of his Ford Focus and both quit the race when they where third and fourth.

In the last laps the fight for the third place between Ponce de León and Altuna was the most interesting.

Both were disquallified because of a touch betwween them in the final curve.

Finally and after forty laps, Marcelo Bugliotti won his first race of the year and his fifth since he joined to the category in 1999. Another great result for Tuero in second place and for Altuna with an unexpected fourth place.
