Ex Jordan driver, Heinz-Herald Frentzen opts for silence till this debacle is legally sorted out. In a surprise decision by Eddie Jordan, Frentzen was given the walking orders without any notice or warning. A clearly disgruntled Frentzen is taking Jordan to court ending his contract which was extended till 2002.

Frentzen explains: "I know that it is about time to explain a few things to my partners and fans, however, I will have to remain silent," said the German.

"My lawyers have strictly recommended me not to comment on the situation," he added. "The only thing I can do at the moment is to thank all my partners and fans for their support up to now. I can only ask for your patience for the time being."
