CHARLOTTE, NC (January 30) -- Veteran sports announcer Ralph Sheheen will host the weekly motorsports news and information show RACEDAY, seen Sundays at 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET/PT on TNN: THE NATIONAL NETWORK.

Sheheen, who joined TNN in 1990 as a pit reporter on American Speed Association telecasts, will make his debut as the host of RACEDAY Sunday, Feb. 11 (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET/PT).

"Ralph Sheheen has been an integral part of the TNN Sports crew for a decade," said Brian Hughes, Senior Vice President, TNN, Sports and Outdoors. "There is no one better suited for the hosting duties of RACEDAY then Ralph. He is a true professional that brings extensive motorsports knowledge to the show."

"I look forward to the challenges of hosting a live weekly motorsports information show," said Sheheen. "I hope to expand on what RACEDAY has been delivering to motorsports enthusiasts for nearly 10 years on TNN."

Sheheen, who was born in Utica, NY and raised in Sacramento, CA, resides in Charlotte, N.C., where RACEDAY is produced.

Newly formed Wheeler TV produces RACEDAY. Patti Wheeler, president of Wheeler TV, will serve as executive producer. Mark Smith is the show producer. Bob Dillner and Sean Pragano remain with the show as feature reporters. -30-
