FOUNTAIN, Colo. - Eric Bostrom took his second MBNA Superbike win in a row today at Pikes Peak International Raceway during the Cruise America Superbikes Weekend presented by Suzuki.

The American Honda rider took the lead from his brother Ben Bostrom on the fourth lap and held on to win the 41-lap race that was shortened by seven laps after another motorcycle leaked oil onto the track that sent four riders sliding. All walked away from their crashes.

Bostrom has competed in only three Superbike races this season and had clinched the Formula Extreme season championship Saturday.

Matt Mladin took second-place for Yoshimura Suzuki and Jason Pridmore finished third on his Vance & Hines Ducati. The MBNA Superbike podium finish is Pridmore's first.

Reigning MBNA Superbike Champion Doug Chandler, who finished sixth, and American Honda's Ben Bostrom, who finished fifth, are tied for the series lead with 323 points.

In 600 Supersport, Suzuki's Larry Pegram took his first career win in the class by leading 24 of 29 laps. Eric Bostrom was second.

In the 250 Grand Prix race, Erion Honda's Kurtis Roberts took his second win of the season while a third-place finish by Roland Sands wrapped the class championship.
