New York, N.Y. -- December 2, 1994-- NASCAR Winston Cup superstar Rusty Wallace has been tapped to host WIN!, an all- new motorsports series to debut in April next year on TNN: The Nashville Network. The announcement was made today by David Hall, Senior Vice President, Cable Networks, Gaylord Entertainment Company.

Each week on WIN!, Wallace will take viewers behind-the- scenes of racing to follow a race team, a sanctioning body, or other motorsports organizations to see what it takes to win. The series will telecast on Sundays at 10:00 AM (repeats at 2:30 PM; all times Eastern).

"Who better to host our new series than Rusty, 1994's winningest NASCAR Winston Cup driver," said Hall. "The series will be fast-paced with high-energy human drama and promises to put the viewer in the middle of the action each week."

WIN! replaces the popular long-running "Winners" hosted by the late Neil Bonnett. Revamped in 1994 following the death of Bonnett, the series had been titled Neil Bonnett's Winners and featured celebrity drivers as hosts.

"Neil Bonnett put his heart and soul into the Winners project," said Wallace. "My goal is to try to meet and continue the level of professionalism and integrity that was so evident in Neil's work. It's indeed an honor to host the show for the 1995 season."

AlliedSignal Automotive Aftermarket, who has served as the sponsor of Winners during its four-year run on TNN, returns next year to sponsor WIN! "AlliedSignal's commitment to motorsports, its athletes and television all came together so successfully on Neil Bonnett's Winners," said Steve LaVallee, Merchandising Manager, AlliedSignal Automotive Aftermarket. "We believe it's only going to get better with Rusty, another great winner."

Win! will be produced exclusively for TNN by World Sports Enterprises of Charlotte, N.C. Fred Rheinstein and Patti Wheeler will serve as executive producers.
