With the announcement, becomes the Company’s 16th edition of the most-read motorsports digital platform in the world.

Entry into market expands’s world-class editorial coverage into all Canadian Provinces and Territories while launching its digital platform in both English and French versions.

The decision furthers the Company’s strategy of splitting its content into autonomous multiple language-based platforms, which will geo-target and tailor its comprehensive motorsports coverage by region.

The new English-language region joins those already diversified in Australia, India and the UK.

“Branching out our global platform into regional bureaus in Canada is a true testament to our diverse viewership and technologically capabilities,” said Eric Gilbert, Chief Product Officer, “Thanks to our in-house product development team of engineers and programmers, is seamlessly able to add extra content, in multiple languages, reaching a more targeted race fan across countries.”

The Canadian office begins operations immediately.

Veteran René Fagnan to Lead Editorial Efforts in Province of Québec today announced that respected motorsports journalist René Fagnan has been appointed Director of – CANADA. His appointment is effective immediately.

As the leader of - CANADA, Fagnan will oversee the local editorial office operations and content policy, and report directly to Editor in Chief Charles Bradley who manages the worldwide editorial direction of the brand.

“Our entry into market in the Province of Québec will include all major racing series, including F1, IndyCar, WEC, WRC, MotoGP and NASCAR,” said Bradley. “Furthermore our editorial team, led by René Fagnan, will offer localized coverage of such popular series as the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, Canadian Touring, Nissan Micra Cup, Canadian Rally, and others all across the Provinces.”

Fagnan joins after eight years as the Motorsport Editor at one of Canada’s largest automobile websites.

René Fagnan has been a full-time journalist covering most major motor racing categories since 1988. He has been the Editor of several print magazines, such as Formula and Paddock, and has considerable TV and radio experience. He has also produced two books, one on Jacques Villeneuve and the other explaining F1 technology.
