Key Motorsport captures first win at the 2002 Hankook Championship.

ST-EUSTACHE (May 12, 2002) -- Key Motorsport captured its first Regional Formula Ford 1600 Series victory at the Saint-Eustache Raceway's 1.2-km road course today. Chris Green started the #99 Key Motorsport Van Diemen on the pole position and drove a flawless race to victory.

"At the beginning, it was a little bit of a handful because it is a cold day and we're running a relatively hard compound," Green commented. "Being followed by Olivier Lambert in the first laps made me drive too aggressively, but then, I realized I had to relax and everything fell into place. Key Motorsport prepared an incredible car. I am glad to take this first win for the team."

On the Touring GT Championship, Key Motorsport/Hyundai Motorsports scored another podium with the 3rd place of Jacques Gravel with the #43 Tiburon. The #24 car of Eric Kerub took the 8th spot.

The Provincial Hankook Championship will next compete at the Sainte-Croix raceway, June 1-2. Additional information on Key Motorsport available at www.keymotorsport.com
