PERFECT PEDAL was born out of inventor Gary Gibson's frustration with what was available in all but the most expensive (thousands of dollars) simulator pedal sets. All of the low- to mid-range pedal sets use a position sensor to measure how far you have pushed the brake pedal. In all real-life brake applications, the force of how hard you push the pedal is what stops the car. This is why it is impossible to even approximately simulate a brake pedal with a position sensor. The Perfect Pedal team went at the problem in a completely new way. We believed the best way to simulate a hydraulic braking system is to use a hydraulic system. This is exactly what we have done and patented. www.perfectpedal.com
