NEW INTERNATIONAL MOTORSPORT SHOW ON SUPERSPORT
Motorsport enthusiasts get another bite at the television cherry from April 13 when Supersport will broadcast a new international motorsport programme on CSN.
Produced by Videosport Television the new programme, High Octane Motorsport, will be broadcast on Tuesday nights at 22h00. High Octane Motorsport, a 26 minute programme, takes over from Powersport International which was broadcast for the last time on April 6.
According to Videosport Television managing director Arthur Abraham the fare on High Octane Motorsport will be more news orientated than was the case with Powersport International. High Octane Motorsport will, however, continue to feature high profile categories.
"Programme content encompasses a wide range of singleseater, saloon car, rally, motorcycle and drag racing action from around the world," said Abraham. "On the singleseater front High Octane Motorsport will feature both the Formula One and IndyCar championships.
"We will also be featuring the Nascar Winston Cup Series and the National Hot Rod Association Drag Racing championships from the United States. Where rallying is concerned there will be regular coverage of the FIA World Rally Championship as well as the British, Middle East and Australian rally championships.
"High Octane Motorsport will also cover the British, German and Australian Touring Car Championships, the FIM 250 and 500 Grand Prix world championships and the SBK World Superbike, American Superbike and British Superbike championships."
High Octane Motorsport will enhance the action-packed coverage of motorsport by Supersport.
