January, 2010: A delightful start for FRD

After a very rewarding and successful season in 2009, FRD has enjoyed a delightful January as preparation work for the new season is on a rather smooth path and good news from various media and partners is certainly a good start.

With less than 2 months until the season start, FRD would like to share with you some recent updates:

C1, the newly-voted "Best race event of the year" by China Autosport Awards, is heading into its 5th brilliant year. SIC and FRD confirmed that they will maintain their pleasant work relationship on the C1 project in 2010, and their very first collaboration on the 2010 F1 China GP weekend also looks very promising.

Changan Ford Racing team has proved to be the most desired platform for young drivers in China, with its undisputed outstanding performance and a great deal of attention from the public. The team is now wasting no time preparing for the new season: they are putting the final touches on a new look, car set-up is going according to schedule, and the driver line-up will be announced soon.

Information on FRD's feature races AFR Championship, Clio Cup China and Asian GT championship is now available on the FRD website (www.frdsports.com), containing updated regulations and year-round schedules for 2010. The AFR drivers from all over the world will devote every ounce of their energy to put their names on the shopping list of team managers from higher levels. Race fans can certainly expect good shows from the ever-popular hot hatch Clio race cars and extravaganza of GT perfection.

Meanwhile, you are also welcome to check out the newly-launched 2010 AGT page on the FRD website: www.frdsports.com/en/agt/agt_main.html

Guidelines for Ford Formula Campus will be released very soon. A sincere thank you note was attached to FRD's season summary ad in the Jan & Feb, 2010 Autonews magazines, showing FRD's appreciation for all of its partners, team and drivers.
