DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 3, 2001 - Sixteen of the greatest drivers in racing history will be on hand to meet fans, sign autographs and participate in question and answer sessions Oct. 13-14 at the Ford Racing Centennial Festival at Dearborn's Greenfield Village.

Racing legends Dan Gurney, Jackie Stewart, Ned Jarrett, Bob Glidden and John Force headline an array of drivers who will appear between 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. both days.

"People will have the opportunity to get up-close and speak with some of greatest drivers of all time," said Brad Frohn, North America marketing manager for Ford Racing Technology. "This will be an experience that people who attend will never forget."

Other driving legends scheduled to appear include George Follmer, Junior Johnson, Parnelli Jones, Tom Kendall, Don Nicholson, Carroll Shelby, Lyn St. James, Glen Wood, and Leonard Wood.

The two-day extravaganza also features a host of other activities for racing fans and families including:
* Approximately 200 Ford race cars through the century
* Demonstration runs of newly built replicas of Henry Ford's 1901 Sweepstakes race car, including a 1901 race "re-enactment" with a vintage Alexander Winton race car
* Pit crew demonstrations - then and now
* Interactive children's activities

Admission at Greenfield Village each day of the Festival is $14. Customers visiting any of the 31 Metro Detroit dealers, or Wolverine Truck, may obtain free coupons worth $5 admission for either Saturday or Sunday.
