100% of funds raised from the Car Show and Gala go to the CF Charities 501(c) 3 non-‐profit funds. Dental disease is the number one disease among our children. It is five times more prevalent than asthma, and it accounts for more emergency room visits for our children than asthma and diabetes combined. This disease is highly concentrated in the most disadvantaged portions of our population where access to care is limited. As a result of suffering a personal experience of limited or poor care, our most disadvantaged children rarely enter into dentistry as a career.

Caplin Family Charities (CF Charities) has taken the mission to change a generation of children’s expectations for their own oral health as well as their opportunity to participate in the solution as a career. CF Charities developed the Resilient Public Healthcare Model whereby early education, comprehensive and compassionate dental care, and merit-based rigorous education produce a generation of children who expect to keep their teeth for their lifetime and where some students become public health dentists to prevent the problem from reoccurring.
