Unlucky Turn Number 6, that is.

The tight lefthander hairpin is just not what the doctor ordered for the Japanese driver. Throughout yesterday and today's practice sessions, Tohru has missed the turn completely and drove straight, very literally, into the gravel trap.

"Turn 6 is at the end of a long straight. I will shift from 5th to 4th gear, and then on to 3rd. But the minute I let go of the clutch in 3rd, I surge forward, right into the gravel," lamented Tohru after this evening's official untimed practice session.

"It feels as if someone is suddenly pushing my car from behind. The car has no brakes at all and somehow it only happens on Turn 6," said Tohru

He was, however, as positive as ever, and added, "My engineer is working on the car's brake system at the moment, and everything should be OK by tomorrow."
