Ao Chi Hong took the Division 1 win in Round 2 of the region's leading "tin top" series in a Honda Integra DC5, setting the fastest lap of 2:32.179. Hong Kong's Gary Sham was second in a race interupted by a red flag brought out when Lo Hung Pui's Honda Integra DC2 caught fire.
The lone GR Asia Ford Focus of Nick Thomas was third, rounding off an excellent first outing for the New Zealander. Team mate Matthew Marsh was uanble to take the start after suffering gearbox problems during the opening round, but the team was pleased with its results in the Japanese manufacturer-dominated field.
Veteran touring car ace Danny Stacy Chau, took the Division 2 honours in his Team IMSP Honda Civic EG6 in the shortened 7-lap race.
Malaysia's Tony Teo was second, with Lo Ka Fai taking the remaining Division 2 podium spot.
Countryman Mohd Fariq finished 5th, despite setting the fastest Division 2 lap of 2:34.011.
