Australian Super Truck Racing Championship Sprint Race One (12 laps) 20001 Australian Super Truck Champion Ian "Inky" Tulloch has taken out the first of two Sprint races at the final round of the championship. Tulloch took the lead from the outset and was never headed, winning by four seconds.

Glenn Dobson further enhanced his chances of taking second position after finishing second in the race ahead of rival Luke Sieders who passed John Bomberle's Kenworth on lap two and held third for the duration.

Five times champion Rodney Crick was involved in a dice with Joe Scarcella, which lasted for half the race and was resolved in the latter's favour as Crick slowed to limp to finish in seventh behind Barry Butwell.

In the Light Truck class, Matt Aaron had a comfortable win result, as well as well eighth outright, over Ken Bedggood and Graham Spencer, all driving similar Isuzu SBRs.
