Australian Super Truck Racing Championship Superprix (18 laps)

Inky has completed his 2001 Australian Super Truck Championship with a emphatic win in the Superprix at Calder Park Raceway. The race, which started with the Light Trucks beginning ahead of the Super Trucks, was red-flagged shortly into the event when several trucks spun and were stranded on the track.

Two of them were the front running Light Trucks of Graham Spencer and Ken Bedggood. Bedggood along with Matt Aaron were not able to make the restart leaving Spencer a big leader in the early part.

However he was hunted down by Tulloch who led the chasing pack after taking several laps to pass Rodney Crick. Luke Sieders was similarly held up, but once past, caught up and also passed Spencer.

John Bomberle was third ahead of Glenn Dobson while Spencer fifth in front of Crick, Brian Haigh and Barry Butwell.
