On Saturday, Yifei Ye (Josef Kaufmann Racing) became, at Monza, the first Chinese driver to win a race in the Formula Renault Eurocup. Starting from pole position, Yifei Ye took top honours ahead of the rookie member of the Renault Sport Academy Christian Lundgaard (MP Motorsport) and Italian Lorenzo Colombo (JD Motorsport). With the victory, Yifei Ye is the new leader in the general classification ahead of Max Fewtrell (R-ace GP) and Christian Lundgaard.
