Race Update - September 10, 2004

Hurricane Ivan continues to be watched as we prepare for next weekend's Miami 250 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

To give competitors more flexibility in their travels to Florida, the Miami 250 has been adjusted to a two-day event with on-track activity on Saturday, September 18th and Sunday, September 19th. Competitor move-in will now be on Friday, September 17th at 2:30 p.m.

At this stage, the Miami 250 remains scheduled to run at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Sept. 18 -- 19, although we encourage you to look for another update on Monday afternoon when we should have a better idea as to the path and impact of Hurricane Ivan.
