Jani in front with little margin.

Yet again Neel Jani had a dominant day in this years FRV6 Championship. The young Swiss driver took 1st position in the morning free practice and 2nd qualifying session and lost the pole to Mondini for only 22 thousands of the second in the 1st qualifying.

Neel Jani : "The car in the first qualifying was not as good as in the morning session but the second place was not so bad any way. This afternoon I pushed hard early to set a quick lap, I was very close to the limit with over steering. Because of this I lost control of the car in my 3rd lap but it was enough to keep pole position."

Memo Rojas : "Many drivers know the track here and I reduced the gap behind the leaders all day. I finished 8 tenths of a second off the pole this afternoon but because there are many drivers all together with times within 1 second I was pushed out of the front lines."

Bruce Lorgere-Roux : "We have lost some time this morning, I did not have the opportunity to make a lot of laps to learn the track. I am quite happy with my qualifying time because I did not know the track and many other drivers had a big advantage because they have raced here before."
