Kush Maini has confirmed that he will compete in the Italian Formula 4 championship with BVM Racing in 2016.
The Indian teen, previously, had announced a packed programme for the year, dovetailing F4 Spain and SMP F4.
But after a late change of plans, the younger brother of European F3 racer Arjun Maini confirmed his switch to Italian F4.
When contacted by Motorsport.com, it was confirmed that Kush will concentrate solely on the Italian championship for 2016.
Maini's name was listed in the entry list revealed by the organisers for 2016 with the season already underway this weekend with the first round at Misano.
The 15-year-old is graduating from karting to single-seater racing and tested with the Koiranen GP-backed SMP championship over the winter, showing encouraging results.
