Trulli to replace Duran in Malaysia
Jarno Trulli will be back behind the wheel for this weekend's Formula E race in Malaysia, taking over from Salvador Duran for the Putrajaya ePrix.
Motorsport.com understands that the Mexican driver is set to part ways with the Trulli squad, with Trulli himself to stand in for the Putrajaya weekend, the 41-year-old to race alongside fellow Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi.
It is expected that the news will be officially confirmed tomorrow.
Trulli finished 20th in last year's Formula E championship, with a best result of fourth in Uruguay.
Duran's departure from the team comes after a difficult start to the new season for the Trulli squad, which included missing the first round in Beijing.
