Bruno Senna topped the charts in FP2.
Mahindra Racing's Bruno Senna stole the show in the second practice session in Beijing, leading FP1 leader Lucas di Grassi by over three tenths. China Racing's Ho-Pin Tung clocked in third but later crashed, causing the second red flag of the day.
The other red flag was due to a wreck involving race favorite Sebastie Buemi, who made contact with the wall at turn six. Franck Montagny, Daniel Abt, Jarno Trulli, Jaime Algueseri, Jerome d'Ambrosio, Nick Heidfeld, and Nelson Piquet Jr. rounded out the remainder of the top ten.
Due to the aforementioned incident, Buemi was the driver listed at the very bottom of the charts.
