Michela Cerruti had to face another tough weekend in round 4 of the 2014-2015 FIA Formula E Championship. Lining-up for Team Trulli at the Buenos Aires street venue, the Italian female racer was forced to retire due to an early spin that cost her the chance to complete the full race distance. Nonetheless, Michela was able to log many laps that will definitely be valuable for all the team in terms of experience.

After having run smoothly in practice, the chances to log a good flying lap in qualifying were reduced dramatically due to several yellow and red flag situations. Then, even though a spin forced her to come back to the pits right away to take her second car, Michela treated the race as a test despite the fact that there were no chances to make it to the end due to the limited battery power.

For the next round of the series, the Formula E championship will stay in America, although teams and drivers will now have a 3-month break. Round 5 is scheduled for March 14th in Miami.

Michela Cerruti: "It hasn't been a very good weekend for us. It didn't end up as I expected and unfortunately I'm once again heading home without a good result. In practice it all started well, while crashes and neutralizations meant that I only had one lap to set my qualifying mark and that jeopardized my chances to get a good starting position. In the early stages of the race I also lost control of my car under braking and touched the barriers. I was able to get back to the pits, but with the second car, even using the energy-saving set-up, it was impossible to make it to the end. Anyway, I stay positive as I always do, and I'm really determined to finally get the good results we deserve as soon as possible".
