Lucas di Grassi stripped of Berlin win

As a result of the exclusion, Jerome d'Ambrosio has won his first FIA Formula E race.

Lucas di Grassi has been excluded from the FIA Formula E Berlin ePrix after emerging victorious from second place on the grid, taking the lead from polesitter Jarno Trulli at the start.

The disqualification comes as a result of illegal modifications performed on the front wing endplates.

Di Grassi was the championship leader, 17 points clear of Nelson Piquet Jr. He is the fourth driver to be disqualified from the final race results and will fall to third in the standings. Piquet now holds the top spot over Sébastien Buemi.

Jérôme d'Ambrosio, who scored his first podium result for Dragon Racing today, is now the victor and the seventh different winner in eight races this season. Loïc Duval also moves onto the podium due to the exclusion of the Audi Sport ABT driver.
