Justin Wilson to make Formula E debut

Justin Wilson will make his Formula E debut for Andretti in Moscow next month.

Wilson has been lined up to deputise for Scott Speed at the race around the Kremlin on June 6. He will join ex-Toro Rosso driver Jean-Eric Vergne in the Andretti Formula E team.

Speed is on X-Games duty the weekend of Moscow.

Wilson, who competed in last weekend's Indianapolis 500 for Andretti is also highly likely to race on home ground in London at the Formula E season finale double-header at the end of June.

Motorsport.com has learned that the team only considered either Wilson or Matt Brabham, who impressed the team with his two outings in Malaysia and Uruguay last year.

Andretti Formula E boss Roger Griffiths said of the plans: "We like to race with people within the Andretti family and we are excited to have him in the car as he always impresses us. It can only be a positive move."
