Amlin Aguri takes the first win in Buenos Aires ePrix

Antonio Felix da Costa, who started from the 8th starting grid, brought the first win to Amilin Aguri Formula E Team in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Saturday 10th January. Felix da Costa says” I was very happy and confident about our car this weekend. I knew that we could get a podium finish but I wasn’t sure where on podium so it’s great that we finished at the top of the podium.”

The hard part will start after this win as we need to keep the top position.

The Amlin Aguri Team started from the 8th (#55Car) and 16th (#77Car) at Buenos Aires ePrix. The #55 car has been in a good condition all through the day, marking the 3rd in the overall practice session result.

Summing up the day, Mark Preston, Team Principal said: “Its an amazing feeling to win a race in the first season of this new series. We have worked hard to improve the car and this is a great result. The team has put so much effort into the car and a win is a testament to all of our determination and commitment.”

Starting from the 16th grid, Duran brought valuable points to the team by finishing 8th in the race.

Duran comments: “It was a very interesting race, especially during the first half of the race as we were pushing very hard to move up the position and the car felt really good. I am pleased with the result.”

Felix da Costa said: ”The hard part will start after this win as we need to keep the top position. It is a great feeling to have and we will continue to keep pushing hard to move up the team standings. I am looking forward to the next race.”
