The FIA has announced the 10 teams which have been validated to enter the second season of the all-electric championship.
The number of teams remain the same as the 2014/15 season, with two drivers each.
The FIA, on Thursday, confirmed the 10 teams to enter the registration process and the teams are to submit their registration which will be verified by the FIA after 24th July, 2015.

- Mahindra Racing
- Trulli Formula E Team
- DS Virgin Racing
- NEXTEV TCR
- Team Aguri
- Venturi Formula E Team
As Motorsport.com earlier reported about the imminent split between Amlin and Aguri, the FIA list confirms the team name as Team Aguri against their original name Amlin Aguri.
Also, Virgin Racing is renamed as DS Virgin Racing after their partnership with DS Automobiles.
The Audi ABT team has been changed to ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport after their partnership with Schaeffler, a leading technology manufacturer.
Formula E CEO, Alejandro Agag said, “After our successful inaugural season, it’s very positive for the championship to have 10 teams registering for season two, several of which have backing from leading manufacturers.”
“This clearly shows the strength of the series and we’re already looking forward to getting preparations for next season underway.”
