Luna Rossa host of Trident Racing

Today the scuderia Trident Racing received a visit from the boys of Luna Rossa Challenge 2007, the Italian most credited challenger to the next prestigious America's Cup, so twenty sailors had the chance to closely watch a GP2 team in action.

"I have been surprised - says Paolo Bassani crewmember of Luna Rossa - to see how many elements and systems are similar in sailing and motor-racing". While Fabrizio Nicotera (nicknamed Biscio) member of Luna Rossa Design Team declared: "Looking at this wonderful singleseaters I discovered many ways of using carbonfibre I did not know. The brakes, for instance, I did not know they could be carbon made".

"We have been happy to receive Trident Racing invitation - said Sheree Curtis, Luna Rossa PR - but I did not expect we could get such a big emotion. Know I better understand the emotion of our guest when they come to see us racing. We now hope to meet again the Trident Racing boys in the future".

As souvenir of their visit each guest has been given a vest and a hat of the same kind used by the drivers. The scuderia members had the honour to see the sailors immediately wear the Trident Racing branded garments. From now all the Trident Racing team members will be the first fans of Luna Rossa Challenge 2007.
