Milano, January 16, 2008 - Bayer Italia and Trident Racing, the first Italian team to be involved in a solidarity program, are proud to present the "Fast on Track, NOT on Road" campaign, in co-operation with the Italian Automobile Club.
Bayer Italia and Trident Racing, the first Italian team to be involved in a solidarity program, are proud to present the "Fast on Track, NOT on Road" campaign. The project`s goal is to spread the concept of an aware, correct, and safe driving among youngsters. The basic concept will involve showing the potential threats of driving on an open road, and the necessity to express the passion for high speeds only where allowed, on fully-sanctioned closed racetracks.
The campaign is the first concrete development coming from the renewed co-operation between Trident Racing and Bayer. The chemical and pharmaceutical giant, well-known for promoting the values of fair-play, healthy competition and sporting awareness through the "Bayer per lo sport" brand, will be co-operating with the GP2 Series team for a second consecutive year, carrying on a partnership based on the values of innovation, technology and safety.

The communication plan will count on the co-operation of the Italian Automobile Club (A.C.I.) base at Vallelunga, that will be offering 12 safety drive training packages to be held at the venue`s "Centro Guida Sicura ACI - Sara". The structure offers a variety of courses, including car and motorbike drivers` trainings, as well as specific training programs for truck drivers, and more.
Bayer Italia and Trident Racing will carry on the campaign by keeping in mind their young target: branded cards and stickers will be handed out during the GP2 Series Races` Italian races, and in the 1.200 most popular clubs of Milan and Rome.
During the project`s presentation, at Bayer Italia`s headquarter in Milan, Trident Racing presented its 2008 driver line-up. The drivers will also be involved in "Fast on Track, NOT on Road" by serving as endorsers for the project.
