The Monegasque driver, sixth yesterday in qualifying, kept himself out of trouble at the start and gave away only one position. He did not wait long to put in a recover and during lap five Coletti was holding P5 with a race pace that was among the fastest.

At the pit stop a lock up forced Team Rapax's driver to slightly speed in the pit lane and a few laps afterwards he was penalyzed by marshals with a drive through. Slipped down to the back, Coletti kept on pushing well determined to get into the points no matter what but a technical problem forced him to the retirement during lap twenty-four.

The race was won by Fabio Leimer (Racing Engineering), who was followed by Sam Bird (Russian Time) and Tom Dillmann (Russian Time). Felipe Nasr (Carlin) had to retire instead.

Leimer is the new classification leader with 153 points, followed by Bird at 145 and Coletti at 135. Nasr is currently fourth at 130.
